Sabir Bacus – Senior Benefit Consultant

Sabir has 33 years of extensive experience in the industry in the fields of legal/contractual and consulting, the last four being with GTC. He holds a BA LLB degree and is a full member of the Pension Lawyers Association. Sabir is an experienced Employee Benefits consultant, skilled in all the functions of employee benefits and retirement funds.

Sabir has worked with both large institutions and private organisations, managing insured, freestanding and umbrella portfolios. Apart from consulting to a portfolio of clients, he provides advice on employee benefit legal matters to various Boards of Trustees and clients.

Established by the President, the 2019 Independent Commission for the Remuneration of Office Bearers engaged Sabir as their specialist retirement fund consultant.
