Jenny has over 40 years’ experience in investment management with the last twenty three years within GTC (Pty) Limited (Formerly Grant Thornton Capital). Prior to joining GTC Jenny managed a suite of multi-manager portfolios and also managed private client equity, bond and money market portfolios within a private client stock broking team. She was also a member of an institutional stockbroking equity sales team with prior experience in local and offshore trust structuring and administration. Consulting with clients is her passion. Jenny is a member of the Financial Planning Institute of Southern Africa, holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning and holds the Chartered Banking Professional (SA) designation of the Institute of Bankers in Southern Africa. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Law and Anthropology from Wits University. Jenny’s work-life-balance sees continued relationship management with clients together with increased quality time with family, friends, and horses.

Prior to joining GTC, Ralph provided financial advice within the banking sector. Ralph has his Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning from the University of the Free State and is a registered member of the Financial Planning Institute. Well-known to many GTC private clients, some of whom would regard Ralph as far more than just a professional advisor, Ralph is an empathetic listener, and a cautious and considered advisor. He has a well-established work ethic and highly values the quality of integrity. Ralph tries living the work/life integration and when he is not engaged with clients, he enjoys most outdoor activities and is a keen cyclist. Ralph has completed two treks in the Himalaya’s, one to Everest base camp and the other in the Manaslu region.

Ian integrated his business with GTC in 2016 having operated his own independent financial advisory business since resigning as a regional manager of a large life insurance company in 2011. Over his career Ian has won numerous awards, recognising both his financial planning talents and his capabilities as a manager. The integration of Ian’s clients and Ian himself into the GTC family has been an easy and successful exercise. Ian is married to Heidi, and they have three children. Ian enjoys international travel, scuba diving and “old mans” mountain biking. Ian was a DJ in his youth and still enjoys playing the guitar for anyone who will listen.
